Insurance policy
All vehicle rentals at MVS Car Rental LTD come along with an Comprehensive Insurance Cover which include Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection. However in case of accident, damage or loss of equipment the driver is responsible for the first excess (claims). You therefore limit your financial liability to the deductible or excess amount. In cases where damage is less than the excess we then have a gentleman agreement and simply request you to make good to the damages at an approximate rate.
If in cases of drunken driving or gross negligence you'll not be covered by our insurance. To be noted that we might block the excess amount on your credit card as deposit . If you return the vehicle undamaged, the deposit will be released immediately.

Insurance waivers or extra insurance :
At MVS Car Rental LTD you can also opt to reduce the excess to half by paying an additional daily rate to your normal rental charges but which is non refundable. This simply means that if any damage occurs to your rented vehicle you won't be liable to pay the total deductible or excess as you already chose to go for extra insurance. To be noted that we might block half the excess amount on your credit cards as a deposit. However the extra insurance excludes the following: Accidental damage to windows, tyres, undercarriage, and roof, Loss of keys/personal belongings. Extras like Baby / Booster seat.
Extra Insurance cost: EUR 9.00 per day
Reduce Excess amount to EUR 250.00
Note :
The Insurance or Extra Insurance does not cover during cyclone warning of class three or higher.
